Jorge at the end of the hike.
Me, at the end of the hike.

Another picture of the old Cemetery.

The Centennial Trail Marker.

These are two bridges that are on Fort Meade, they are of the same stone our house is made of.

A pretty little bug I spotted. He just posed for us.

Another picture of the camp where they kept pows at Camp Fechner.

We ate lunch near this stream that runs through the campground and picnic area at Alkali Creek Campground, and Trailhead. The view and quiet made the up, down, over the mountain, rocky hike worth it.

These are some of the pictures of the old cemetery you pass on the hike.

A good looking view.

The old building in "Camp Fechner" and old conservation corp and POW camp off Fort Meade, that is part of the 111 mile Centennial Trail.

A hike we attempted to take up in Hill City. We only covered a couple of miles when the rain began to fall, unfortunately the clouds were just over the hills, but we weren't that prepared as it was beautiful in town so we didn't expect the rain. But this part of the Michelson trail is one I've hiked before and I'm sure we'll be back.
