HARDWOOD, TILE AND VINYL

We are about one month away from moving in and flooring is the name of the game. The hickory wood grain looks great and will look even better after the polyurethane coating.

Vinyl flooring in the basement bathroom

Tile around the jetted tub

Vinyl flooring in the laundry room

The great room is looking, well...great

Latest House Pictures

The front porch is finished, and it is nicer then I imagined. Here it is, although the picture is crooked, the house is really straight.

The inside is painted.

The master bath and guest bath are tiled.
The only problem to deal with now, is how anxious we are waiting for the house to be completed in the next 5 - 6 weeks!

Trip to NY over Mothers Day 2009

Grandma Alice, Tim and Ricky enjoying the deck.
Here is a 'group' shot on Mothers Day, 2009. That is Granma Alice, Jorge, Timmy, and Emma on Tia Linda's lap. In the back ground is Linda M. and Alice. It was a great week end, and we all had a good time.

There was a slight catastrophy as Emma got a splinter and here her mom made an attempt to take it out.

Jorge, Linda, Grandma Alice, Tim and Rick on the deck.

Tia Linda poses with the 'girls.' That is Valerie (Ricky's daughter), Emma (Linda's daughter) and Alexa, Ricky's youngest daughter.

What can you say about Alexa, she is way to adorable for words.

It was a busy and full week end, but we did get to sit a few minutes on the deck and enjoy the nice weather.

Emma, she was so much fun over the week end.

Valery enjoyed her book.

Alexa had to have her ice pop like the other girls, but the truth was, she didn't want it!

Jorge at the end of the hike.
Me, at the end of the hike.

Another picture of the old Cemetery.

The Centennial Trail Marker.

These are two bridges that are on Fort Meade, they are of the same stone our house is made of.

A pretty little bug I spotted. He just posed for us.

Another picture of the camp where they kept pows at Camp Fechner.

We ate lunch near this stream that runs through the campground and picnic area at Alkali Creek Campground, and Trailhead. The view and quiet made the up, down, over the mountain, rocky hike worth it.

These are some of the pictures of the old cemetery you pass on the hike.

A good looking view.

The old building in "Camp Fechner" and old conservation corp and POW camp off Fort Meade, that is part of the 111 mile Centennial Trail.

A hike we attempted to take up in Hill City. We only covered a couple of miles when the rain began to fall, unfortunately the clouds were just over the hills, but we weren't that prepared as it was beautiful in town so we didn't expect the rain. But this part of the Michelson trail is one I've hiked before and I'm sure we'll be back.

HOW 'BOUT THEM DOORS!

These were taken 0n 4/28 and 4/30. Lots of sheet rocking and mudding. We found the furnace on when we arrived on 4/28 in the late afternoon-drying the mud.

The front porch area has been graded and is ready for the front porch to be built (pile of wood will transform into the porch)

This one is too light, blurry and spotty, but it shows Mama in the walk-in closet

After all the snow and rain, the back yard had to be graded and is now looking lots better

The peninsula has been rocked, taped and mudded

Fireplace and TV alcove

Kitchen ceiling with lots of light cans

How about them garage doors-insulated and top of the line

This one is out of place, but what the heck
