Sisters and Eugene, OR

We had a great time in Sisters and Eugene, from carving pumpkins to being tourists and walking around town.

Above, Linda in front of the quilting store that puts on the famous "Sisters, OR Quilt Show" each summer. Jorge and Danny pose, above right, and Peter and Tom, lower left.

One picture at a time...this could take a lifetime...

Here are a few pictures, at the rate of taking 5 to 10 minutes to load each picture, I am bored and tired of waiting. The last picture (still loading), has taken 15 minutes. Maybe it is time to find a new blog spot???

Some more fun travels...

Our trip to Chico, and an eagle I saw eating in the middle of the road one morning in East Helena.

Next stop...Tacoma

A pretty sunset

More from Chicago

This is the view from the top of The Hancock Building where we went for a drink.

Chicago is a city of many surprises, and had great art downtown, as well as nice parks and waterfronts.

Dad in front of the Natural History Museum and at Gino's, where we ate Chicago Pizza.

Chicagoland

Here we are in our hotel, and a view from the roof top bar where we had a drink.

Jake

Well, here is the 'big man' trying to find a rug he can fit on, and a sunny spot to nap. It has been exceptionally windy (tongue in cheek) and cold. The cold being exceptional for this time of year (30's at night, 45 yesterday, 47 today), but the winds seem to always be a common factor around here. We went for our morning walk but had to cut it short, even Jake didn't seem to like pushing through the wind.
